Crawler turntable
Through the slewing support mounted on the chassis, the entire weight of the turntable can be transferred to the chassis, which is equipped with power units, transmission systems, hoists, operating mechanisms, counterweights and hangars. The power unit can make the turntable rotate 360° through the slewing mechanism. The slewing bearing is composed of the upper and lower rolling discs and the rolling elements (balls, rollers) in between, which can transfer the full weight of the turntable to the chassis and ensure the free rotation of the turntable.

Crawler undercarriage parts
Including traveling mechanism and traveling device: the former makes the crane walk forward and backward and turn left and right; the latter is composed of crawler frame, driving wheel, guide wheel, roller, carrier wheel and crawler wheel. The power device rotates the driving wheel through the vertical shaft, horizontal shaft and chain transmission, thereby driving the guide wheel and the supporting wheel, so that the whole machine rolls along the track and walks

Crawler parameters

The crawler crane is characterized by flexible operation, can rotate 360 degrees, and can travel with load on flat and solid ground. Due to the function of the crawler, it can work on soft and muddy ground, and can drive on rough ground. In the construction of prefabricated structures, especially in the installation of single-story industrial plant structures, crawler cranes are widely used. The disadvantage of crawler cranes is that the stability is poor, they should not be overloaded, the traveling speed is slow, and the crawler is easy to damage the road surface.

The crawler cranes commonly used in structural installation projects mainly include the following models: W1-50, W1-100, W2-100, Northwest 78D, etc. In addition, there are some imported models.

The maximum lifting capacity is 100KN (10t), the hydraulic lever is combined to operate, and the boom can be extended to 18m. This kind of crane has a small body. It can be seen from the textbook table 6-1 that the width of the crawler frame is M=2.85m, and the distance from the tail to the center of rotation A=2.9m, light weight, fast speed, can work in narrow sites, suitable for small workshops with a hoisting span of less than 18m and an installation height of about 10m, and do some auxiliary work, such as loading and unloading components, etc.

The maximum lifting capacity is 150KN (15t), and it is hydraulically controlled. Compared with the W1-50 type, this crane has a larger body. It can be seen from Table 6-1 that the width of the crawler frame is M=3.2m, and the distance from the tail to the center of rotation is A= 3.3m, the speed is slow, but due to the larger lifting capacity and the longer boom, it is suitable for the workshop with a hoisting span of 18m~24m.

The maximum lifting capacity is 500KN (50t), the main mechanism is controlled by hydraulic pressure, the auxiliary machinery is controlled by lever and electric, and the boom can be extended to 40m. 4.05m, the distance from the tail to the center of rotation is A=4.5m, which is suitable for installation in large industrial plants.
