Main shaft :Material is 50Mn high-quality carbon structural steel, with C content ranging from 0.48 to 0.56%, Si content ranging from 0.17 to 0.37%, Mn content ranging from 0.7 to 1.0%, S content ranging from less than 0.035%, P content ranging from less than 0.035%, and Cr content ranging from less than 0.25 to 0.30%, Ni content ranging from less than 0.30%, and Cu content ranging from less than 0.25%.Among them, Mn is an important element in alloy steel, which can improve the ductility and plasticity of the material, ensure sufficient toughness and wear resistance. After heat treatment, 50Mn steel has high strength and hardness, excellent penetration,deep hardening layer, and fine pearlite texture, and good mechanical performance.

The design standards for the main shaft require a depth of 2 to 7 mm of hardening layer and a tempering hardness of 50 to 62 HRC.

Body :In order to improve the wear resistance of the track roller s body, material is 40Mn2 alloy structural steel, with C content ranging from 0.37 to 0.44%, Si content ranging from 0.17 to 0.37%, Mn content ranging from 1.4 to 1.8%, P content ranging from less than 0.030%, and S content ranging from less than 0.030%.

The bottom roller body is molded with a forging process.After molding, the rough wheel body is tempered to achieve a hardness of 26-32HRC to maintain a high strength, plasticity, toughness, and overall mechanical performance inside the wheel body. The wheel body surface is subjected to quenching treatment to increase the hardness and wear resistance of the support wheel rail surface.The quenching hardness is 50-58HRC, with a depth of 6-12mm. This results in a basic similarity between the rail surface hardness and the chain link joint hardness (48-58HRC).

Seal :The size and surface roughness of the O-ring should be consistent with the design requirements.The mating surface should be rounded off, and there should be a cleaned-up of any burrs and sharp edges.

Floating seal rubber and O-ring should be selected from high-quality butyl rubber.The inner diameter, thread size, elasticity, hardness (Shore), and surface finish should all comply with the standards. Before assembly, all of the above items should be inspected and qualified in accordance with the above standards before installation.

Gap :The clearance between the axle main axis and the hub bearing on the roller body should be 0.2-0.4 mm.When rotating, there should be no blocking problem and good sealing performance, no oil leakage.

Lubrication :The bearing oil in the track roller should be injected using an oil pump.When necessary, the lubricating oil viscosity may be appropriately increased. Before injecting the bearing oil, the obsolete lubricant should be drained out. Then, the new lubricant should be added to the oil plug hole until the oil flows out. When injecting the lubricating oil, the hub cap screw should be removed, and the oiling end of the oiling device should be pressed against the shoulder in the oil channel.The tightening torque of the oil plug should be controlled between 157-255 Nm.
